You see it all the time on the World Series... walk into a poker room and there is usually someone with an mp3 player listening to music. But what kind of effects can this have on play?

I wanted to start out this thread as it does not seem to get enough attention.

So anything goes here... what kind of music do you listen to when you play? Or do you even listen to anything? What kinds of music can mellow you out, but not to such a point your docile... and what music is bad that may cause aggressive behavior?

Personally, I chose to listen to heavy metal music. headbaging when comes the flop ;D

So what are your thoughts, ideas, comments?

When I play I usualy listen to classic music, something with nobody singing, just the violins and the piano. The harmony in those songs makes my brain work so much more spontaneously. I recommend everyone to try, even if you don't like, you'll get used to and start to like it once you realize how good it is
